Dalam mempersiapkan seorang atlet kita harus merancang sebuah Latihan yang sesuai dengan karakter olahraga tersebut misalnya untuk kecepatan (speed), kekuatan (power) atau endurance (daya tahan).

Sebagai manusia tentunya kita perlu untuk menjaga kebugaran tubuh agar fungsinyadapat bekerja secara optimum sehingga terhindar dari sakit dan mendapatkan performa yang maksimal. Terlebih khusus bagi atlet yang pencapaiannya adalah berdasarkan kinerja tubuhnya. Dalam mempersiapkan seorang atlet kita harus merancang sebuah Latihan yang sesuai dengankarakter olahraga tersebut misalnya untuk kecepatan (speed), kekuatan (power) atau endurance (daya tahan). Lebih jauh lagi kita harus melihat karakter tubuh dari masing – masing atletsehingga secara tepat dapat memberikan Latihan yang tepat untuk bagian otot yang tepat agar tujuannya untuk menjadi juara dapat tercapai.

Saya adalah pelatih olah raga renang, dalam olah raga renang sendiri terdapat beberapadisiplin berbeda seperti gaya bebas, gaya dada, gaya kupu – kupu dan gaya punggung. Masing - masing memiliki karakter dan kebutuhan berbeda belum lagi variasi dari jarak tempuh darinomor yang dipertandingan. Contohnya pada 50 m diperlukan ledakan tenaga di awal yang dapatmembawa seorang atlet untuk melesat ke depan meninggalkan lawannya dan hanya dalam waktukurang dari 30 detik pertandingan usai. Sebaliknya untuk jarak 400 m seorang atlet harusmengkombinasikan daya tahan tubuh dan kecepatan secara optimum agar tidak kehabisan tenagasebelum pertandingan berakhir.

Proses pelatihan sendiri tidak dapat lepas dari peranan istirahat dan asupan nutrisiseimbang. Peranan istirahat adalah agar atlet dapat mencapai performa terbaiknya, pemulihanotot dimana diperlukan juga pemijatan untuk menghindari cedera, memperkuat kinerja otot dan meingkatkan kinerja atletik. Tentunya yang tidak kalah penting adalah asupan nutrisi seimbangagar tubuh memperoleh bahan bakar yang tepat dan juga pembetukan tubuh yang ideal untuk karkteristik olahraga yang menjadi spesialisasinya. 

​Kondisi antropometric test terakhir dan pola pelatihan yang saat ini sedang diterapkanbagi Siman membuatnya butuh asupan nutrisi yang tepat untuk penyediaan energi pada saatmelakukan aktifitas latihan (baik di darat maupun di air) dan juga pada saat pemulihan(recovery). Pilihan makanan yang tepat akan membantu mengoptimalkan energy dan pemulihandengan maksimal. Inilah peranan dari program Kachimesi Winning Meals Indonesia, memberikan asupan nutrisi seimbang bagi Siman seusuai dengan kondisi tubuhnya polapelatihan yang dijalaninya sebanyak 6 kali seminggu dan 2 kali semingu untuk Latihan “dry land” atau Latihan otot di luar Latihan di kolam renang. Sementara ini hasil Siman untuk 50 m sudah melampaui target catatan waktu namun pada nomor 100 m masih membutuhkan perbaikanperforma. Saya optimis bahwa dengan disiplin Siman dan dukungan asupan nutrisi yang diberikan oleh Ajinomoto Siman dapat mengejar target catatan waktu lebih cepat 3 detik secarabertahap. As humans we need to maintain body fitness so that its functions can work optimally for us to be avoided rom health issue and able to get the best performance of our body. Especially for athletes whose achievements are based on their physical performance. In preparing an athlete, we must design an training suitable with the sports character, for example, speed, strength, or endurance. Furthermore, we must look at the body characteristics of each athlete so that they can provide the right training for the right muscle parts so that the goal to become a champion can be achieved.

I am a swimming Coach, and in swimming, there are several different disciplines such as freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly stroke, and backstroke. Each of them has its characteristics also the variation of the distance traveled from the number in competition. For example, at 50 m it takes a burst of power at the start that can bring an athlete to dash forward leaving his opponent, and in less than 30 seconds the match is over. On the other hand for 400 m, an athlete must be equipped with the combination of endurance and speed for him not to run out of energy before the finish line.

The training process itself cannot be separated from the role of rest and balanced nutritional intake. The role of rest is so that the athlete can achieve his best performance. And the intake of balanced nutrition is also important for the body to get the right fuel and the formation of an ideal body shape for the sports characteristics.

The latest condition of the anthropometric test and the training program currently being implemented to Siman makes it necessary for him to have the proper nutrition to supply energy during training activities (both on land and in water) and also during recovery. The right meal choices will help optimize energy and maximize recovery. Sudah lebih dari satu dekade saya menjadi pelatih renang dan banyak tantangan dalam menentukan menu latihan terbaik bagi seorang atlet. Banyak aspek yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan sebuah pola latihan karena masing-masing atlet memiliki karakteristik fisik yang berbeda yang membutuhkan pola latihan yang berbeda pula. Hal ini akan bergantung kepada karakter fisik seorang atlet dan dsisiplin renang apa yang mereka geluti. Dan di luar latihan fisik dan tehnik, asupan gisi merupakan faktor penting yang menjadi satu kesatuan dalam menentukan program pelatihan yang ideal. 


Saat ini saya menjadi pelatih renang untuk salah satu atlet renang terbaik Indonesia yaitu I Gede Siman Sudartawa. Kami sangat beruntung mendapatkan dukungan dari program Kachimeshi Winning Meals Indonesia yang memberikan kontribusi dari sisi penyediaan nutrisi seimbang bagi atlet. Program ini sangat mendukung perkembangan olahraga terutama cabor renang di Indonesia karena saat ini olahraga tidak hanya menjadi suatu kegiatan masyarakat, tetapi sudah mencapai tahap industri dan terus berkembang dari tahun ke tahun.

Program yang memasuki tahun ketiga ini diimplementasikan dengan juga melibatkan ahli nutrisi olahraga professional, Emilia Achmadi. Dengan difasilitasi oleh Ajinomoto Indonesia, saya sebagai pelatih memberikan informasi bobot program latihan dan tahapan-tahapan latihan secara spesifik (anaerobic vs aerobic). Selain itu juga jumlah latihan yang di lakukan Siman perhari, perminggu dan perbulan ditambah dengan hasil tes antropometri dari sang atlet.  Setelah informasi diberikan, dilakukan manajemen gizi seimbang untuk Siman dimulai dari sarapan, makan siang dan makan malam dengan variasi menu beraneka ragam yang disediakan oleh Ajinomoto Indonesia. Hal ini penting juga untuk Siman agar tetap dapat menikmati makanan sekaligus asupan gizi dalam waktu bersamaan.


Disinilah Program Kachimeshi ini berperan besar pada keberhasilan I Gede Siman Sudartawa dalam prestasinya di tingkat internasional dengan raihan medali emas pada event seperti Sea Games dan International event lainnya, juga pemecahan rekor Sea Games dan rekor nasional olehnya.


My name is Albert Christiadi Sutanto, I am a former national swimming athlete who has experienced the national, regional, and international levels of competitions. Now I am a Swimming Coach and have been coaching for more than a decade. There were challenges in determining the best training menu for an athlete. Many aspects affect the success of a training program because each athlete has different physical characteristics that require different trainings. This will depend on the physical condition of the athlete and what kind of swimming discipline they are into. And apart from physical and technical training, nutritional intake is an important factor that forms an integral part in determining the ideal training program.


I am currently a swimming coach for one of Indonesia's best swimming athlete, I Gede Siman Sudartawa. We are very fortunate to have the support from Kachimeshi Winning Meals Indonesia program which contributes in providing balanced nutrition meals for athletes. This program is very supportive to the development of sports, especially swimming in Indonesia, because currently sport is not only a communal activity, however, has reached the industrial stage and continues to develop from year to year.


This program, in its third year, is implemented by involving a professional sports nutritionist, Emilia Achmadi. Facilitated by Ajinomoto Indonesia, as a coach, I provide information on the weight of the training program and specific training stages (anaerobic vs aerobic) and also the number of exercises Siman does per day, week and month plus the anthropometric test results from the athlete. After the information was given to the Sports Nutritionist, a balanced nutrition management was carried out for Siman starting from breakfast, lunch, and dinner through a variety of menus provided by Ajinomoto Indonesia. This is also important for Siman to be able to enjoy his meals as well as nutritional intake at the same time.
